RN GIG - Flex - Per Diem - PRN - Mercy Perry and Surrounding Communities

About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality in line with the organization’s mission and standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in various departments, including Behavioral Health, ED, ICU, and Women's Health.
• Maintain flexibility for scheduling, including day or night shifts without weekend or holiday requirements.
• Respond to short-notice shift needs; no guaranteed hours and handle shift cancellations.
• Ensure quality patient care and evaluate staff performance.
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to standards and mission.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Valid RN license in the state or compact licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year recent bedside RN experience for Med Surg; 2 years for specialty areas.
• Certifications: BLS; ACLS/PALS as applicable.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and perform prolonged standing, walking, reaching, and bending.
