RN GIG - Flex/Per Diem/PRN - Mercy Lebanon
About the Role
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Position Details
This is a PRN/Per Diem/Flex/Float position within the GIG program at Mercy Hospital Lebanon. Shifts are available in various lengths (4, 8, or 12 hours) and times, with no weekend, holiday, or shift requirements. Participation requires flexibility, availability on short notice, and potential for last-minute shift cancellations. The program does not guarantee shift hours and may prioritize cancellation for GIG RNs.
- $40/hour + variable shift incentives
- W-2 employee status
- Minimum of 12 hours worked every 90 days

- Emergency Department (ED)
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Medical-Surgical (MS)
- Labor & Delivery (WC)
Requirements
- Education:
- Required: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Preferred: BSN
- Licensure: Current compact RN license (responsibility of the candidate to obtain and maintain)
- Experience:
- One year of recent bedside RN experience for Med Surg
- Minimum of two years of recent bedside RN experience for all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.)
- Certifications:
- Med Surg and Women's Health (L&D): BLS
- Critical Care (CC): BLS, ACLS
- Emergency Department (ED): BLS, ACLS, & PALS
- Additional certifications may be required after start
- Preferred Experience: Epic experience
