RN - Full Time - Medical/Surgical

About the role

Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, compassion, and respect to deliver high-quality care while preserving patient dignity and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients accurately based on their medical condition.
• Administer prescribed medications safely.
• Deliver age-appropriate care and assist with basic self-care activities.
• Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans.
• Perform treatments, assist with procedures, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Address psychosocial needs and coordinate with social services for discharge planning.
• Practice cost-effective resource utilization.
• Prioritize patient care efficiently and promote safety by minimizing risks.
• Engage in continuous professional learning and development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Computer literacy required.
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS/PALS preferred.
