Role Overview This position involves providing direct and indirect patient care in various healthcare settings. The nurse collaborates closely with physicians, leadership, co-workers, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes, utilizing critical thinking, compassionate care, and nursing processes. Responsibilities include assessing patients accurately based on their medical condition , administering medications as prescribed , delivering age-appropriate care and patient education , assisting with procedures and performing technical services , addressing psychosocial needs and coordinating post-discharge care , and promoting patient safety and cost-effective practices. The role requires prioritization and effective communication to ensure quality care and patient rights are preserved.
