RN First Assistant - OR - Full Time - Days with Call

Role: Operating Room RN – First Assistant, utilizing the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinating with other departments. Responsibilities: Provide leadership and evaluation of caregiving staff, maintain professional accountability, and embody organizational mission and values in all interactions. Qualifications: Active RN license in Missouri, at least 2 years of intraoperative experience as scrub and circulating nurse (3+ years preferred), and certifications including BLS/ACLS within 1 year, RN-First Assistant, and CNOR. BSN preferred. Skills: Strong intraoperative skills, sterile technique, tissue handling, suturing, hemostasis, wound closure, and adherence to perioperative standards like AORN guidelines.
