RN First Assistant - OR - Full Time - Days

This role is for an Operating Room RN – First Assistant responsible for delivering exceptional patient care using the nursing process, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinating care with other departments. Key duties include providing leadership, guidance, and evaluation to care teams, maintaining professional accountability, and embodying organizational values. Qualifications require a current RN license in Missouri, with a minimum of 2 years intraoperative experience as both scrub and circulating nurse (3+ years preferred). Certifications needed include BLS/ACLS (within 1 year), CNOR and RN-First Assistant certifications (within 1 year). Preferred credentials are CRNFA and a BSN degree. Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in surgical assistance, sterile technique, tissue handling, suturing, and hemostasis in line with AORN standards.
