About the Role
Registered Nurse in the Surgical Progressive Care Department, providing direct patient care in a technically complex environment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver top-of-scope care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to prioritize patient wellness.
- Model proficiency through precepting and mentoring.
- Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Support specialty education and contribute to evidence-based practice.
Training & Development
Offers a four-phased orientation based on AACN's ECCO® resources, including simulation, multi-system learning, and competency verification, supported by clinical educators.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required if less than 3 years of experience).
- Active RN license.
- BLS certification.
- At least 6 months of nursing experience.
