About the Role
This position provides direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit, utilizing top-of-scope nursing practices and a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve optimal outcomes. The role involves prioritizing patient wellness, safety, and evidence-based practices, along with precepting new healthcare professionals and contributing to a secure and high-quality care environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver complex clinical care aligned with AACN standards and specialty certifications.
- Support individualized education and competency validation through clinical educators.
- Participate in a structured orientation program based on adult learning principles and simulation-based training.
- Contribute to a safe, efficient, and patient-centered care environment.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program or state-approved nursing school (if less than 3 years of experience).
- Current RN licensure and BLS certification, with relevant life support certifications.
- Minimum six months of nursing experience.
