RN Fellowship - Medical Surgical PCU Rotating

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a technically complex Progressive Care Unit (PCU), utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Supports evidence-based practice, prioritizes patient wellness, and models proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Participates in a four-phase orientation program based on AACN ECCO® resources, including simulation and competency validation.

Responsibilities

• Delivers top-of-scope nursing care, ensures safety and quality at the point of care.
• Contributes to a collaborative and innovative clinical environment.
• Supports ongoing education and specialty training to develop critical care competencies.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required if less than 3 years of experience).
• Active RN licensure and current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 6 months RN experience preferred.
• Demonstrates strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
