About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) within a technically complex environment, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes, prioritize wellness, and model proficiency through precepting new staff. The role supports a dynamic, innovative clinical environment focused on safety and quality at the point of care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope nursing care to PCU patients
• Apply the nursing process and evidence-based practices in a technically complex care environment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
• Prioritize patient wellness throughout the care continuum
• Support safety and quality initiatives at the point of care
• Precept new staff and model clinical proficiency
• Contribute to a dynamic, innovative clinical environment

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• At least six months of RN experience
• Current BLS certification
