About the Role
Provide direct patient care in an acute-care unit, utilizing the nursing process to deliver top-of-scope nursing care in a high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver top-of-scope nursing care and prioritize patient wellness
- Support a multidisciplinary team and contribute to safety and quality initiatives
- Model proficiency through precepting and mentoring
- Support evidence-based practices and participate in ongoing education
- Care for patients in specialty Med-Surg units
- Participate in competency validation and support a culture of wellness and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure
- BLS certification
- At least six months of RN experience
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
