RN Fellowship - Acute Care

About the Role

Provides high-quality direct patient care in a specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) unit, utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team approach.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes patient safety and evidence-based practice.
• Models proficiency through precepting new staff.
• Contributes to a secure, quality-focused clinical environment.
• Supports specialty education, training, and competency validation with clinical educators.
• Delivers comprehensive nursing care for patients with moderate to high acuity.
• Adheres to evidence-based care models.
• Participates in professional development and safety initiatives.
• Maintains licensure, certifications, and ongoing education to support clinical excellence.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• At least 6 months of nursing experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
