About the Role
Provides high-quality direct patient care in a specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) unit, utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team approach.
Responsibilities
- Prioritizes patient safety and evidence-based practice.
- Models proficiency through precepting new staff.
- Contributes to a secure, quality-focused clinical environment.
- Supports specialty education, training, and competency validation with clinical educators.
- Delivers comprehensive nursing care for patients with moderate to high acuity.
- Adheres to evidence-based care models.
- Participates in professional development and safety initiatives.
- Maintains licensure, certifications, and ongoing education to support clinical excellence.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- At least 6 months of nursing experience.
- BLS certification required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
