About the Role
Provides direct patient care in a high-acuity Acute Care (Med-Surg) unit, utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team approach. Models professionalism, supports evidence-based practice, and precepts new staff or students. Participates in orientation and ongoing specialty education supported by clinical educators.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, safe patient care based on system competencies and evidence-based models.
- Prioritize patient wellness, safety, and quality outcomes.
- Contribute to a positive, fast-paced clinical environment and support team collaboration.
- Engage in professional development and specialty certification standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (preferred: Bachelor's degree).
- Valid RN licensure and at least 6 months of RN experience.
- BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
