Job Summary

The licensed registered nurse is a professional nurse who is responsible and accountable for providing evidence-based clinical care to designated patients utilizing the nursing process. This is accomplished by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care according to established ethical/cultural codes and standards of nursing practices and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes.

Shift/Hours

Full-Time
Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM with every 4th Saturday from 8AM-12PM

Job Description

The licensed registered nurse is responsible for:

• Assessing patients' health needs and developing care plans
• Implementing care plans and monitoring patient progress
• Evaluating care effectiveness and making adjustments as necessary
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient outcomes
• Providing evidence-based clinical care to designated patients

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate from accredited School of Nursing
• If eligible, must have a Compact (multi-state) License in their primary state of residence
• Licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is being performed

Specialized Knowledge

• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing theory
• Clinical practice standards and policies
• Competent to independently perform safe nursing skills and procedures
• Able to critically think and problem solve in routine and emergency situations

Kind And Length Of Experience

• Prior experience as an RN
