Responsibilities

• Accomplishes the mission of Northern Arizona Healthcare by coordinating care for patients and their families.
• Provides direct care, patient and family education, and discharge planning.
• Follows the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Leads and mentors ancillary personnel, serves as a preceptor, and participates in the healthcare team.
• Adapts care plans based on patient progress and maintains infection prevention standards.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals, assists with procedures, and transports patients as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a BSN program within 6 years of hire into an RN position.
• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid, participating compact license.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
