RN Endoscopy
The Registered Nurse at North Shore Medical Center, Inc. (Mass General Brigham) manages all aspects of the nursing process and delivers patient and family-centered care. This role requires a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing required; bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing preferred
- Experience in lieu of a degree is not accepted
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required
- BLS certification is required, ACLS certification is preferred
- 3+ years of IV and PICC experience, 3-5 years preferred
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be able to demonstrate any knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients serviced in his/her assigned department. Certifications in CPR, PALS, ACLS, and BLS may be required upon hire for specific patient care units. Those who are transitioning into a new area who do not possess these skills will be trained.
