About the Role

We are seeking an ER Flow Facilitator RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to be responsible for the overall movement of patients in a safe and efficient manner. This position will facilitate all patient care activities and be a liaison with the Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, and attending staff to ensure that care can be delivered in an efficient and safe manner. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of the nursing process.
  • Work in conjunction with the ER providers and admitting physicians to determine the appropriate admission status and level of care.
  • Facilitate and foster communication, patient flow, staff support, regulatory compliance, care coordination, transfers, and policy and process development.
  • Coordinate care delivery within the organization.
  • Identify process gaps, coordinate change strategies, and assist in implementation of change management.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing (Required)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
  • Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license (Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation)
  • BLS-AHA Provider issued card (required within 30 days of start)
  • 3+ years of experience as an RN in an ED setting (Required)
