RN - Emergency Department (Part-Time, Evening Shifts)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Perform comprehensive multi-system assessments, identify deviations, and develop individualized care plans.
• Delegate tasks appropriately, prioritize patient needs, and coordinate discharge planning.
• Initiate and document care based on protocols, administer medications accurately, and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Evaluate patient responses and participate in quality assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum nine months of RN experience; one year in Emergency Department preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licenses and certifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and either PALS or ENPC within six months of hire.

Skills

• Computer skills; previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.
• Certifications like CEN or TNCC preferred.
• Ability to recognize cardiac dysrhythmias and strong communication skills are advantageous.
