Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for a wide spectrum of illnesses and injuries including lifesaving procedures in all types of emergency and trauma situations to chronic medical problems, minor illnesses and injuries
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the Emergency/Trauma clinical setting
• Participate in organizational and unit‑based quality improvement activities
• Complete required competencies within the defined time frames
• Maintain professional and effective working relationships with all members of the Health Care Team
• Support the mission, philosophy and goals of the HCA Hospital

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• Current Nevada Registered Nurse (R.N.) license
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS and TNCCENPC; TCAR; PCAR‑Trauma Resus Team) within 1 year of hire for Adult ED (CEN preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital RN experience in the Emergency Department required
• Current acute clinical care experience in emergency medicine within the past 5 years preferred
• Two years hospital emergency medicine experience within the past 5 years preferred
• Must meet clinical standards specific to the assigned patient care area (specialty unit employees for areas such as Emergency Room or ICU)

Pay

Hourly Wage Estimate: $51.37 – $75.11 / hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical wage range of candidates hired. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below the midpoint of the range.
