RN Job RN Educator Unit Based Perioperative Shift Hourly Pay Range $50.64 - $78.49 Job ID 107579733630 Location Los Angeles, 90059 Apply at Website Job Description The Perioperative Clinical Educator is a skilled and experienced professional Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for excellence in the provision of educational services. Reporting to the Director of Perioperative Services educator is accountable for the education program planning for clinical and ancillary staff within the Perioperative Services departments. The Clinical Educator incorporates considerations of Age and Population Specific awareness and the Watson Model of Care in all program planning.. The role is involved in the assessment, development and evaluation of staff competencies and considers compliance with regulatory and professional standards, improvement of quality, service levels, safety, customer satisfaction and collaborative relationships in the process. Qualifications EducationCertified Nurse of Operating Room (CNOR), required to be completed within 12 months of hire.Bachelors degree required Qualifications/ExperienceMinimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience in Perioperative Services and a minimum one (1) year educator experience in an acute care setting, preferred.Current California Nursing license.Certification in Staff Development preferred.Experience with implementation of an EMR preferred.
