RN-Educator Perioperative Services

About the role

The position focuses on educating current staff and orienting new staff. It includes auditing and is part of the leadership team.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Current New York State Registered Nurse registration and certification or eligibility for licensure in New York State

Experience

Demonstrated clinical competence and in-depth knowledge in specialty area.

Work Environment

• Subject to infectious materials and chemicals (see unit-specific MSDS information)
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
• Majority of time physically on-site due to nature of the work
