About the role
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated and experienced RN for our Emergency Department at Community Medical Center, a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital. As the largest and most active health care facility in Ocean County, CMC serves over 21,500 inpatients, 178,000 outpatients, and 73,700 emergency department patients annually. CMC is the state’s newest teaching hospital with four residency programs.
Responsibilities
The RN is an integral part of the ED team, caring for patients from infants to geriatrics in Triage, Main ED, and Trauma. Nurses in this role respond quickly to minimize pain and stabilize a patient's condition during medical emergencies requiring immediate treatment.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- RN Degree
- Current NJ RN License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association)
- At least one year of current ED or Acute Care RN experience
Qualifications (Preferred)
- BSN
- Certification in a relevant specialty
