About the Role
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality patient care, promoting positive outcomes through compassionate and efficient nursing practices. Working under general supervision, the role involves coordinating patient care via the nursing process and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient needs and conditions to deliver appropriate care.
- Analyzing medical histories, diagnostic results, and current conditions to develop personalized care plans.
- Preparing nursing processes such as medication administration and treatments.
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance of medical records with standards and policies.
- Evaluating patient responses and adjusting interventions to meet care goals.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team for effective planning.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an RN; specialty experience preferred.
- Valid RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
- BLS certification from American Red Cross or AHA.
