Responsibilities

• Supervise the provision of clinical and non‑clinical services.
• Manage clinical operations, services, personnel, and office operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
• Valid clinical license per state requirements or a compact nurse license.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience within the immediate previous 36 months.
• Minimum of one year of experience with home health.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing home‑care office operations.
• Current CPR certification (as required by the position).
• Valid state driver’s license in the current state of residence.
• Automobile liability insurance as required by law.
• Basic technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
• Preferred: Previous experience in a management position.
• Preferred: Experience using Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
• Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish) to facilitate clear communication with patients and caregivers.
• Dependable transportation in good working condition and ability to drive safely in all weather conditions.
• Strong oral and written communication, active listening, and fluency in English.
• Intermediate technology skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• In‑office attendance required for all non‑remote positions to achieve Enhabit objectives.
• State‑specific requirements:
  • Arizona: Registered nurse with at least three years of nursing experience, including at least two years providing home health services.
  • Connecticut: Registered nurse with an active license and one of the following:
    • Master’s degree (NLN or APHA approved) with minimum one year full‑time clinical home health experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree with minimum three years full‑time clinical nursing experience, at least one year in home health.
    • Continuous employment as supervisor of clinical services in home health since Jan 1 1979.
    • Diploma or associate degree with minimum three years recent clinical experience and evidence of community health nursing certification or relevant coursework.
  • Delaware: Registered nurse with at least one year of home health and supervisory experience.
  • Illinois: Bachelor’s degree in nursing and one year nursing experience, or RN with three years experience (two in home health or family‑centered community health).
  • Maryland: 2‑3 years of experience or education in community nursing; alternate branch director home health.
