Role Overview

The Registered Nurse CVOR provides specialized cardiovascular surgical care in a high-acuity environment, leading the healthcare team through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Establishing personalized patient relationships
• Collaborating with physicians and team members
• Managing complex cardiovascular procedures and equipment
• Ensuring optimal patient outcomes
• Handling high call volume and stressful situations effectively
• Utilizing advanced skills in hybrid CV suite operations and specialized instrumentation

Qualifications & Skills

• Current RN licensure
• BLS certification
• CVOR experience
• Associate degree in nursing (minimum); Bachelor's degree or BSN preferred
• Expertise in open-heart surgery, cardiovascular procedures, and equipment manipulation
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules and handle demanding workloads
