RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Key Responsibilities

• Providing safe and appropriate perioperative nursing care within the RN scope of practice
• Preparing the operating room and supporting cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Following sterile technique, infection-prevention, and patient-safety protocols
• Participating in robotic cardiovascular procedures as applicable
• Monitoring and documenting patient care throughout the perioperative process
• Communicating effectively with the multidisciplinary surgical team
• Responding to urgent/emergent Heart Team cases while on call

Requirements

• Specialty: RN – CVOR / Heart Team
• Shift: 10-hour Days
• Scheduled Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call: Rotational call coverage required
• Calls may include approximately one call assignment per week
• Weekend call may be required
• When assigned weekend call, coverage will be either Saturday or Sunday, not both
• Weekend call may consist of 24-hour call coverage
