About the role

Joining AdventHealth is about extending the healing ministry of Christ. This role involves conducting comprehensive patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses, and evaluating outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Requirements

• Associate's of Nursing degree [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing degree [Preferred]
• Registered Nurse (RN) license [Required]
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures [Required]
• Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft windows-based programs [Required]
• Excellent organization and interpersonal communication skills [Required]
• Basic EKG Certification (BEKG) [Preferred]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Previous experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record [Preferred]
• Previous EKG Interpretation Class [Preferred]
• EPIC [Preferred]
