About the Role

As a member of the Critical Care Response Transport Team, the Registered Nurse provides patient assessment, critical nursing care, and transport services to patients. The Nurse is responsible for supervising patient care, treatment, and assessment during transport.

Pay

This is an hourly position with a wage range of $51.91-$70.44 per hour, determined by the length of licensure.

  • Based on a standard 48-hour work week (some shifts may require an assigned debit day in week 4), the estimated annual compensation ranges from $140,000 to $190,000.
  • For 1 on 3 off shift schedules that do not include a debit day in the 4th week, the estimated annual salary ranges from $121,469 to $164,829.

Shifts are generally 24 hours in duration; therefore, full-time schedules include overtime compensation in accordance with applicable labor laws.

Regular, non-exempt field employees who are scheduled to work on designated holidays are paid a premium holiday rate of 1.5 times their regular rate for all hours worked on the holiday.

Education and Experience

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • 3 years of experience in a critical care or emergency department environment preferred
  • Certified in ACLS and PALS prior to hire
  • Certified CEN and/or CCRN preferred
  • Patient Transport Experience preferred
  • BSN preferred
  • EMT-B bridge course will be offered upon hire

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting in a vehicle and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times
  • Ability to bend and stoop
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Possess hand-eye-foot coordination and color recognition
  • Good manual dexterity, with the ability to perform all tasks related to Emergency Medical Services Duty

The employer shall reimburse regular, full-time nurses up to one thousand two hundred dollars ($1200) each year for pre-authorized courses/events, including travel, registration fees, lodging, and class materials. Requests for education funds will be responded to within seven (7) days, and reimbursements will be made within thirty (30) days of submission.

Sign-On Bonus

You will receive a sign-on bonus in the amount of $15,000, subject to all taxes and withholdings, payable in one installment after completing the required minimum hours and maintaining good standing employment.

  • Eligibility requires full-time status and accrual of a minimum of 2,496 combined hours of work and used paid time off (PTO), approximately twelve (12) months of employment.
  • If you voluntarily or involuntarily terminate employment, you will not be entitled to the sign-on bonus.
