About the role
Provides professional nursing care within ICU and Cardiac Neuro ICU units, following hospital policies and Illinois Nurse Practice Act.
Responsibilities
- Assesses patient conditions and employs critical thinking to plan and evaluate care.
- Monitors patient progress and records observations accurately.
- Delegates tasks appropriately and collaborates as part of a healthcare team.
- Delivers quality patient care and recognizes changes in patient status.
- Ensures compliance with nursing standards and protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Nursing.
- Current Illinois RN licensure.
- CPR certification.
- ACLS certification within six months of hire.
- 2–5 years of critical care nursing experience.
