About the Role
This position focuses on developing and coaching Medical Assistant (MA) teams and leads within clinics, emphasizing workflows, protocols, and team building. It involves collaborating with clinic managers and system resources to enhance clinic operations and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and mentor MAs and leads, including orientation and training.
- Build trustful relationships with providers and MAs to promote patient-centered care.
- Serve as an expert on MA scope of practice and standardize protocols.
- Recommend quality improvements by analyzing workflows and redesigning processes.
- Ensure MA adherence to pharmacy guidelines, vaccine administration, medication safety, and CLIA standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinic process projects.
- Support MA-driven measures, assist in interviews, and promote organizational mission and values.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license with ASN or higher from an accredited school.
- Current BLS-HCP certification.
- At least two years of RN experience; preferred bachelor’s degree, clinical nursing, and leadership experience.
