About the role
The Clinical Supervisor ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care by supervising competent staff and optimizing resource utilization. They collaborate with administrative personnel, physicians, and co-workers to improve processes and ensure appropriate staffing for patient care. The role involves proactively managing patient flow and bed allocation in partnership with the Staffing Office.
They inspire a shared vision, demonstrate professional standards, and foster positive attitudes, encouraging co-workers to lead change through mentorship and support. The Clinical Supervisor promotes accountability, provides recognition, and connects personally with staff via servant leadership. They participate in evaluations alongside the Clinical Manager and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines, aligning with the organization's mission and values.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing program
- Current RN license
- 3-5 years hospital nursing experience
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification or completion within probation
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
