About the role
The Clinical Supervisor ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care by supervising competent staff and optimizing resource use. They collaborate with administrative personnel, physicians, and team members to improve processes and manage patient flow and bed allocation. The role involves providing mentorship, recognition, and fostering a culture of servant leadership while holding staff accountable for professional responsibilities and compliance with policies and regulations. The Clinical Supervisor participates in staff evaluations alongside the Clinical Manager.
Responsibilities
- Supervise competent staff to ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care.
- Collaborate with administrative personnel, physicians, and team members to improve processes.
- Manage patient flow and bed allocation.
- Inspire a shared vision and promote change while modeling professional standards.
- Provide mentorship and recognition to foster a culture of servant leadership.
- Hold staff accountable for professional responsibilities and compliance with policies and regulations.
- Participate in staff evaluations alongside the Clinical Manager.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program.
- Current RN license.
- 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
- Relevant certifications such as BLS, TNCC, ACLS, ENPC, or PALS.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Strong communication and clinical competence.
- Proficiency in data assessment.
