About the role

The Clinical Supervisor at Mercy is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of patient care are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. They work closely with other administrative and medical staff to optimize resource usage and meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensures efficient utilization of resources to meet productivity and financial goals.
• Collaborates with other administrative personnel, physicians, and co-workers to improve processes and enhance patient care.
• Works to ensure appropriate staffing levels to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Manages patient flow and bed management issues in collaboration with the Staffing Office.
• Models professional standards, displays a positive attitude, and engages co-workers to foster a culture of change and improvement.
• Encourages co-workers by providing recognition and fostering a supportive environment through servant leadership.
• Holds direct and indirect care providers accountable for their professional responsibilities and adherence to policy and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license with the Board of Nursing in the applicable State of practice.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Must have an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within the probation period.
• Hold certifications such as TNCC, ACLS, ENPC, or PALS.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates skills in human relations and communication, both written and verbal.
• Possesses clinical competence in delivering patient care.
• Able to assess data and assist in providing appropriate levels of care.

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
