About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe outpatient care in a clinical setting. They perform the nursing process, delivering relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, while collaborating effectively with colleagues and engaging patients and families in care planning.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care using the nursing process.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and engage patients and families in care planning.
  • Promote evidence-based practice and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support professional development by mentoring colleagues and maintaining competencies.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and contribute to protocol development.
  • Utilize clinical research to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Foster a respectful, inclusive environment through teamwork, cultural competence, and adherence to ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Active RN license (single or multi-state).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience.
