RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator - (Outpatient)- Orthopedic Surgery

About the role

Join a highly specialized orthopedic team supporting a foot and ankle surgeon in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This RN Clinical Nurse Coordinator role offers the opportunity to work closely with patients throughout their care journey—providing education, coordinating treatment plans, and managing a busy surgical practice.

Position Summary

Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule (Monday–Friday, ~40 hours/week) with no nights or weekends, working onsite across two clinic locations (OC and BJWC).

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patients; completes health history and physical examination on patients; conveys findings to physician.
• Captures patient care orders, coordinates diagnostic tests, conveys findings to physician, attends inpatient rounds, coordinates patient appointments and assists with referrals to outside sources.
• Aids physician and provides support with examinations, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care.
• Performs a variety of nursing administrative duties, including compliance with environmental safety regulations, infection control standards and quality assurance.
• Serves as liaison and team leader by facilitating communication and coordination of care between patients, families and health team members; explains routines and procedures to patients and coordinates patient care information to appropriate sources.

Work Experience

• Required Qualifications: Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri and/or Illinois, depending on location, in accordance with the Compact Act.

Pay

$64,500.00 - $109,900.00 / Annually
