Outpatient Surgery RN - Clinical Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate care for outpatient surgical patients
• Oversee day-of-surgery patient flow and conduct comprehensive nursing assessments
• Ensure delivery of evidence‑based, safe, and timely care
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and ancillary teams
• Support and mentor staff to maintain high‑quality patient care
• Assist with scheduling and resource allocation
• Promote a culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Experience in outpatient surgery settings preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory standards
• Commitment to patient‑centered care and quality improvement
