RN Clinical Manager - Medical Surgery

About the role

The role involves administrative and operational oversight of designated departments, focusing on cost management, human resources, quality of care, clinical outcomes, and staff and patient satisfaction. The individual will serve as part of the management team and Shared Governance Model, promoting a person-centered and family-centered philosophy to enhance value-driven outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Succession planning, talent identification, support, education, and resource provision to develop future nursing leaders
• May require assisting in staffing for clinical care across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• At least 3 years of inpatient or outpatient nursing experience, with one year in leadership
• Valid RN licensure in the relevant state
• BCLS certification
