About the role

The RN Clinic - PHMG Clinical Support position is a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Variable position at PeaceHealth. The salary range for this role is $44.27 – $71.09 per hour, with the hiring rate dependent on various factors including education, training, work experience, and terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreements.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care needs
• Assists with patient phone calls, provides counseling, educates patients, takes patient histories, administers medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, and monitors vital signs
• Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards
• Maintains professional effectiveness through education and professional development
• Participates in the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and objectives; quality improvement; safety; environmental and infection prevention programs
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Accredited School of Nursing
• Registered Nurse in state of practice
• Basic Life Support
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Demonstrated ability to promote positive interpersonal relationships and patient/family centered work environment
• Basic computer skills including MS Office applications
• Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs

Skills

• Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families and all members of the care delivery team
• Provides health education to patients, staff and community
• Knowledge of Medicare, JCAHO, DNV & HCFA regulations pertaining to ambulatory care
