Nature of Duties

• Triage patients
• Document vital signs
• Communicate with physicians
• Auxiliary in exams, orders, injections, and patient education
• Maintain accurate electronic records
• Handle phone calls
• Perform blood work
• Assist with Coumadin clinics
• Assist with pacemaker duties
• Auxiliary in insurance pre-certifications
• Auxiliary in supply ordering
• Auxiliary in clinic checks
• Support other clinics
• Perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• Current IL RN license
• 1-2 years cardiology experience preferred or willingness to learn
• BLS certification
• Complete EKG and cardiology courses within 12 months
• Strong communication skills and cardiology knowledge
