RN - Clinic

Nature of Duties

Provide patient care in support of cardiovascular physicians, performing various Registered Nurse duties. Must have cardiology knowledge or a willingness to learn and expand expertise in cardiovascular care.

Specific Duties

• Triage patients
• Document vital signs
• Communicate with physicians
• Auxiliary exams, orders, injections, and patient education
• Maintain accurate electronic records
• Handle phone calls
• Perform blood work
• Auxiliary Coumadin clinics and pacemaker duties
• Auxiliary insurance pre-certifications, supply ordering, and clinic checks
• Assist with other clinics and perform additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• Current IL RN license
• 1-2 years cardiology experience preferred or willingness to learn
• BLS certification
• Complete EKG and cardiology courses within 12 months
• Strong communication skills and cardiology knowledge

Pay

Compensation: Pay starting at $34.37.
