About the role
The RN-Clinic/Call Center provides and manages patient care in a clinical setting for specific age and patient populations. They deliver care using the nursing process and work within professional guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Triage telephone calls from patients, caregivers, relatives, and other healthcare team members based on patient health issues urgency.
- Educate and advise patients regarding their health concerns.
- Schedule appointments as needed.
- Made safe and effective clinical decisions under the direction of the patient’s physician.
Requirements
- Education: Degree from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Experience: Minimum of one year clinical experience.
- Knowledge: General knowledge of payor-specific or medical specialty billing.
- Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills, excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Licenses: Current Alabama RN license.
