RN Circulator - Surgery
About the Role
Join our team as a day shift, full-time RN Circulator (06:30 AM – 5:00 PM with call) at INTEGRIS Health Edmond Hospital in Edmond, OK. This position assumes responsibility for the management and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process. May be required to float to other units and participate in on-call status. Population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals are required.
Responsibilities
- Assessment and re-assessment of patients
- Development and implementation of the plan of care
- Evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions
- Supervision and coordination of licensed and non-licensed personnel in patient care
- Guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate
- Documentation of patient care
- Mental Health staff must assist with physical restraint of patients using the identified Behavior Management Technique System
This position may have additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit test requirements. Potential for exposure to infections, communicable diseases, blood, body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals. Standard precautions must be followed.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- Hospice Only: Current CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association in lieu of BLS
- Other certifications and competencies required based on service line
- Hospice and Employee Health: Valid driver’s license, available and dependable transportation, ability to drive an automobile, and proof of current automobile liability insurance
- INTEGRIS Mental Health: Valid Oklahoma State Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier (for operating INTEGRIS-owned or personal vehicles)

- Hospice only: CHPN (Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse)
