About the role
The RN Charge Nurse position at Norton County Hospital is a full-time, 12-hour night shift role with rotating weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for shift supervision of inpatient and emergency room activity
- Directs patient care activities
- Supports shift staff
- Fulfills the role of a clinical resource
- Liaises with the Director of Nursing
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Kansas
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Experience in charge nurse role preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Current BLS certification
Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures

Pay
