The Behavioral Health Department at Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital embodies a culture of teamwork and effective communication, crucial for providing specialized care to patients ranging from Neonatal to Geriatric. This department specializes in clinical care for patients from Neonatal to Geriatric.
What you'll contribute
- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Completes and revises the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Performs timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments
What we're looking for
- A current state RN license
- An associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- One year of experience preferred
- ASLS certification preferred
