About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of nurses and ancillary staff to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing staff to ensure quality patient care is provided
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assist with staffing and scheduling to meet departmental needs
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address patient care issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Experience in charge nurse role preferred
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures
