Shift/Charge Nurse - RN

Responsibilities

• Work in a supportive environment that promotes advancement opportunities and a healthy work-life balance.
• Assist in supervising the medication program, ensuring proper administration of medications.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living and Independent with Activities of Daily Living as needed.
• Maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians.
• Report any significant incidents or changes in residents' needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in the completion of resident assessments and services plans.
• Train and assist in the training of assisted living staff.
• Attend and participate in scheduled in-service programs, training programs, and staff meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A current license in good standing.
• Certification or licensed per state guidelines.
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification if required by State.
• Successfully complete Atria’s Medication Management Training.
• Able to read, comprehend instructions, write simple correspondence, and communicate effectively in various settings.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and follow detailed instructions.
• Able to work flexible hours and shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.

Skills

• Proficiency in computer systems and software.
• Knowledge of Atria’s policies and procedures.
