RN Charge Cardiac PCU Days

About the role

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a full-time experienced (18 Months+) Registered Charge Nurse to join the Cardiac Care Unit at Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Work with a wide variety of patients ranging in age from adults to geriatrics.
• Provide care for patients including myocardial infarction, coronary artery bypass, pre/post heart transplant patients, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, percutaneous trans-luminal coronary angioplasty, chest pain, congestive heart failure, vascular surgery, ventricular assist device (VAD), invasive hemodynamic monitoring.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams including social services, case management, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and dietary.
• Implement best evidence-based practices to provide quality care to patients.
• Value shared governance, professional growth, quality care, and patient satisfaction.

Requirements

• Graduate of RN School of Nursing, with an ADN preferred and BSN preferred.
• Minimum 18 Months of RN experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Qualifications

• Completed an established program in Nursing.
• At least (2) two years of experience in the field of Registered Nurse.
• Registered Nurse License.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of being hired.

Pay

Full-time position (36 hours per week).

Days shift.
