RN Cath Lab Tech

Responsibilities

• Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures
• Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it
• Administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures
• Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures

Qualifications

Education: Graduate from a nursing program a Registered Nurse (RN) program Required or Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) program Required or Graduate of a Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) program Required

Work Experience: 2 years Cath Lab Tech Experience Required

Licenses and Certifications: Based on type of program completed, one of the following is required upon hire:

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
• RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
• RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist
• BCLS - Basic Life Support
• ACLS
