Responsibilities
- Ensures legal and ethical practice, serving as a patient advocate in accordance with the patient bill of rights.
- Complies with regulatory standards pertinent to nursing practice.
- Demonstrates flexibility to changing systems and maintains quality and effectiveness in work habits.
- Treats staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Executes the Nursing Process in accordance with the established Nurse Practice Act and law.
- Affords all cath lab patients appropriate care.
- Transports patients to and from the cath procedural area.
- Completes all nursing documentation required for procedures.
- Rotates weekday and weekend call with required 30-minute response times.
- Maintains general and unit-specific mandates as required for practice.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-appropriate needs of the patient population served within the department.
- Education: Associate's of Nursing [Required], Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
- Work Experience: 1+ RN experience in clinical setting. [Required], Critical Care RN experience (ER or ICU). [Preferred], Previous Cath lab experience. [Preferred]
Qualifications
- Merge Hemodynamics system [Preferred]
Skills
- Knowledge of the nursing process.
- Ability to assess and monitor cath lab patients.
- Experience with patient transportation.
- Proficiency in completing nursing documentation.
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and alternating days off.

Pay
$31.44 - $54.92 per hour
Schedule
Full time, 4 days a week (alternating days off), 7-4:30 Call: 7-10 days with 1 weekend a month. Rolling Schedule
