Responsibilities

• Ensures legal and ethical practice, serving as a patient advocate in accordance with the patient bill of rights.
• Complies with regulatory standards pertinent to nursing practice.
• Demonstrates flexibility to changing systems and maintains quality and effectiveness in work habits.
• Treats staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect.
• Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Executes the Nursing Process in accordance with the established Nurse Practice Act and law.
• Affords all cath lab patients appropriate care.
• Transports patients to and from the cath procedural area.
• Completes all nursing documentation required for procedures.
• Rotates weekday and weekend call with required 30-minute response times.
• Maintains general and unit-specific mandates as required for practice.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care that addresses the physical, psychosocial, educational, safety, and age-appropriate needs of the patient population served within the department.
• Education: Associate's of Nursing [Required], Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
• Work Experience: 1+ RN experience in clinical setting. [Required], Critical Care RN experience (ER or ICU). [Preferred], Previous Cath lab experience. [Preferred]

Qualifications

• Merge Hemodynamics system [Preferred]

Skills

• Knowledge of the nursing process.
• Ability to assess and monitor cath lab patients.
• Experience with patient transportation.
• Proficiency in completing nursing documentation.
• Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and alternating days off.

Pay

$31.44 - $54.92 per hour

Schedule

Full time, 4 days a week (alternating days off), 7-4:30 Call: 7-10 days with 1 weekend a month. Rolling Schedule
