RN - Cardiovascular II

About the role

We are seeking a registered nurse with at least one year of cardiovascular or intensive care experience. The ideal candidate will be capable of critical thinking, effective communication, and decisive judgment in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care
• Administer chemotherapy with ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification
• Manage complex clinical situations with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty Procedural areas
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification for Pediatric units (specific timelines for certification apply if coming from non-pediatric backgrounds)
• ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification for administering chemotherapy
• Adherence to department-specific credentialing
